At 11:04pm on August 27, 2009, Eveleen Cecchini said…: Leah, I've found myself naturally incorporating it into the "intermissions" in programs where the kids have to sit quietly (live owls, etc.). I'm now developing it into pre-school and early ed programs of "Wild Yoga and Dance" where the kids will be learning about wildlife diversity and habitat while by using appropriate yoga postures and movement (mountain, lion roar, owl, eagle, etc. These programs aren't in place yet. They'll be statting this fall. I'm really excited about it.

My yoga with kids is absolutely amazing. The more I do it the more I love it. I’ve done quite a few workshops this year and will teach a summer institute for teachers and at the Yoga Festival Toronto. Leah, I would like to put a link to Yoga Playgrounds on my website. I hope it’s alright with you. I absolutely love your site. I think one can find a lot of information, resources and inspiration here. I also would like to know if it would be appropriate to put my workshops in my ‘events’.
Leah, I’m really glad that you’re busy teaching. Having trained with you, I want to let you know that it’s very important that you’re sharing your knowledge and talent with teachers and they, in return, give the gift of yoga to kids. Thank you!

You have been a busy lady! Yoga Playgrounds looks amazing. I was curious about the Yoga Playgrounds for children with special needs. What does that look like? Are you using a curriculum? Also, I checked on the Omega website and did not see any info. or fees. The training takes place during my spring break...pretty convenient!
